Queen Arise Scholarship Presentation
One of the most inspiring moments of the conference is the Queen Arise Scholarship Presentation, where I Am A Queen celebrates the achievements of six graduating seniors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and a commitment to serving their communities. As they begin their next chapter, these scholarships provide financial support to help them pursue higher education while recognizing the incredible young women they have become.
This year's presentation will also introduce two inaugural legacy scholarships established in memory of two extraordinary community champions whose unwavering support helped shape the mission of I Am A Queen:
-
The Uncle Ray Crosby Legacy Scholarship honors the life of Uncle Ray Crosby, a devoted mentor, volunteer, and servant leader whose 16 years of faithful service inspired generations of young people to lead with integrity and compassion. (Read Tribute Story)
-
The Renee Vaughn Legacy Scholarship honors the life of beloved broadcaster Renee Vaughn, whose voice, generosity, and commitment to community service amplified the mission of I Am A Queen for more than 16 years and positively impacted countless lives throughout the Triad. (Read Tribute Story)
-
Together, these scholarships celebrate the power of leadership, service, and legacy while investing in the next generation of young women who are becoming HER.
