Celebrating 17 Years of Empowering Girls

On July 17, 2026, I Am A Queen will celebrate 17 years of empowering girls with a crown of confidence.

 

Since 2009, we have impacted nearly 3,000 girls through leadership development, mentoring, scholarships, community service, and life-changing experiences that help young women discover their purpose and reach their full potential.

 

As we celebrate this milestone, we invite women across our community to join the I Am Becoming HER Campaign — a movement of women investing in the next generation of leaders.

 

Every woman has a story. Every woman is becoming a stronger, wiser, and more confident version of herself. Through this campaign, we are asking women to share their journey and inspire others to support the girls who are becoming HER.

Our Goal: $17,000 by August 1, 2026

In honor of our 17th anniversary, we invite you to make a gift of $20 or more to help us continue providing free programs and opportunities for girls throughout Guilford and Rockingham counties.

A free annual conference that equips girls with confidence, leadership skills, and practical tools for life.

 

💜 Queen Arise Scholarship Support
Helping our graduating seniors begin college with the supplies and resources they need for success.

 

💜 18th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway
Providing backpacks and school supplies so students begin the school year prepared and confident.

 

💜 Community Service & Sisterhood Experiences
Creating opportunities for girls to serve others, build meaningful friendships, and develop as leaders.
