Know Before You Go: 18th Annual Back to School Giveaway

Greetings, Family,

Thank you for RSVPing for I Am A Queen’s 18th Annual Back to School Giveaway, happening this Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Greensboro Sportsplex, 2400 Sixteenth St. in Greensboro, near East Cone Boulevard.

As your children prepare to return to school, please know that I Am A Queen is praying for you and your family. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you and help your children begin the new school year feeling prepared, supported and confident.

Here’s what you need to know before you go:

• Children must be present to receive school supplies.

• You do not need a ticket, and there is no formal check-in. Simply show up!

• Please arrive early. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and families may begin lining up before the event starts.

• School supplies will be available for students in pre-K through 12th grade.

• There are no ZIP code requirements. If your family needs support, we welcome you with open arms.

• Spanish-speaking volunteers will be available.

• Water and snacks will be provided while you wait.

• The Greensboro Sportsplex is spacious, which will help us move families through the event as quickly and smoothly as possible.

We cannot wait to see you! Whether this is your first time attending or your family has joined us for many years, this event is all about serving you, your children and our amazing community.
